The Carthage Community Literacy Center allows students to work with families in the Kenosha community to advance education through literacy programs and activities. The center offers a variety of literacy-related programming opportunities to elementary and middle school students, and to young families.

Special Academic Options

Carthage also offers graduate degrees, including a Master of Education program (with several areas of concentration) and a Master of Music in music theatre vocal pedagogy. Existing teachers can pursue add-on licenses in areas such as reading and English as a second language (ESL).

 

J-Term

J-Term is a month-long period of study in January in which all academic departments at Carthage offer innovative courses on campus, as well as study tours around the world.
